A PEDIATRIC SPEECH & FEEDING COLLABORATIVE
Infant Development Team partners with Vermont caregivers and a child’s broader support system to promote communication and feeding development in infants and toddlers. We focus on empowering families through relationship-based, routine-centered speech-language pathology services.
OUR PROMISE
We are devoted to providing collaborative, evidence-based care for infants and toddlers that empowers parents to support their children’s individual needs.
OUR APPROACH
Infant Development Team provides collaborative speech-language pathology services for infants and toddlers. Our approach is child-led and family-centered, emphasizing caregiver coaching and support within everyday routines. We work alongside families and other supports to address communication and feeding goals in ways that are meaningful, functional, and sustainable.
STEP 01
Your child’s journey begins with a developmental evaluation focused on communication and/or feeding. This assessment helps us understand your child’s strengths, needs, and participation in daily routines.
STEP 02
Using information from the evaluation and caregiver input, we develop an individualized plan of care with meaningful goals that support your child and family within everyday routines.
STEP 03
Services are provided by a licensed speech-language pathologist and focus on caregiver coaching, functional skill development, and collaboration with your child’s care team.
